About The Society

The Society of Government Pharmacists (SGP) was established in 1957 in Sri Lanka and it delivers the pharmaceutical service to the country for nearly 63 years since it established.
The founder President of SGP was Mr. W.I. Fernando and General Secretary was Mr. S. Kandasamy (1960/1961). Today, SGP has over 2000 members itself to deliver patient care.
